Snow and other poems
3 new poems on nature and faith
Snow
Snow is just snow until A streak of sunlight Shimmers across each tiny prism Scattering light like stardust Before our eyes Trillions of crystals twirl Toward the earth Like receipts of collective prayer Eager to reveal what we miss When we blink
Like An Evergreen
Make me like an evergreen still and strong rooted and sustained through years of digging into the stored soil of my soul yielding to the decay of beliefs, desires, habits which no longer nourish my becoming. Let my growth and decay humble my heart allow new perspective persistence as I tap into deeper wells of wisdom toward the promise of a life abundant.
God Teaches Us
God teaches us Through the soil Through the seasons Through our resilience Through His own son That He can create life from death That He is not limited by what we see That each of our hopes, fears, plans are as familiar to Him as the stars because He collects our prayers like the earth collects rain

Love love love!!! “Like receipts of collective prayer…” ❤️
All of these are so gorgeous! I’ll be thinking of the evergreens one when I take my walks through the forest near my house.
